I am one of those die hard SATC fans that was outside the theatre at 9:15 am waiting in line to buy my tickets. With that said, I am still a die hard fan and I did enjoy the movie, but I was a bit disappointed. Since this is a fashion blog and not a movie review I will only comment on the fashion. I loved the fashion and I think Pat Field is a genius, however I thought there should have been more variety. I thought the Middle Eastern inspired headgear and harem pants were fabulous as well as the bright colors, but hello? … Where were ALL the Manolos? I did love that Carrie opted for her skimpy Christian Dior dress from season 3, but overall I was hoping to see a little more of the traditional Carrie, but maybe we will see more of that in movie #3… here’s hoping! What were your thoughts?
The weather was so beautiful today we wanted to spend it in the park with friends! There are a few things neccessary to bring when spending the day outdoors, something light and comfy to wear (there are shorts under there somewhere), picnic, reading material, a bathing suit, sunblock, and of course your favorite four legged friend (if you have one)!

Ever since the faux fur vest became popular I loved it. I’m not really sure what my obsession with faux fur (I would never harm a real animal) is but I seem to wear it quite often. The nice thing about the vest is that is a nice way to accessorize an otherwise plan outfit and stay warm at the same time. Also, because this vest is white it can transition easily into all seasons.

I wanted to surprise my hubby for our two year anniversary so I planned a relaxing weekend away to Croton on Hudson. To me packing for two days is more difficult than packing for a week! You only want to have a small bag so there isn’t room for many extra options. With that said try to plan your exact outfit before you pack and bring simple tops that can be worn again.

I had the pleasure of going to my friend’s wedding earlier this month in California. Finding something to wear to a wedding should be easy, but more often than not poses a challenge. After a few hours of shopping I started to get discouraged, until I stumbled upon the new Alice in Wonderland inspired collection at Forever 21! Turns out one of my good friends had the same discovery! In my opinion when dressing for a wedding less is more. Keep it simple and elegant and don’t go to overboard with jewelry. Also, try to stick with the theme of the wedding so you don’t look over dressed or under dressed.
I am wearing a dress from Forever 21 and Michael Kors heels. Kelsey is also wearing Forever 21, and she paired it with a feather piece.
If you are ever shopping around New York be sure to check out the great Flea Markets. Here are some pictures of my favorites. Also, SoHo and NoHo have some great little boutiques that are very affordable!
Spring time here is a LOVE/HATE realationship. You love it because you can finally shed some winter layers, but you hate it because you feel likeyou should wear pretty floral prints and pastels yet it can still be very cold. This particular day it was chilly but I wanted to incorporate a bit of color.
