Thank Goodness [for the hat]

Let’s be honest… washing your hair is overrated. Actually, I would love to wash my hair everyday but I’m lucky if it happens once every few days.  This is why hats are my constant companion.

I have a blog? Where the heck have I been?  Sorry folks, life got in the way.  I promise to be more diligent! Let’s play catch up…

2011 was a great year full of lots of change.

We left our beloved life and friends in the fabulous city of New York to be closer to family because we were having a baby!  We have been readjusting to sunny California life and love being surrounded by palm trees, sandy beaches, and of course our family!

I’m not really sure why, but I tend to wear a lot of black;  it may be because it is so classic or maybe because it goes with everything. sisters with benefits

I rarely wear bright colors.  Not because I dislike them, I just tend to be drawn to neutrals.  On occasion though it is nice to add a little pop.

I just love this over-sized sweater! The last time I wore it I was pregnant (here).

3.5 months [post baby]

Actually, London is 4months old now, so you can see how long it takes me to blog!  Time really flies when you’re having fun=)  The baby weight on the other hand has not so easily flown off.  I have had 6lbs left since London was 5 weeks old, and because I am nursing I won’t be able to do any dieting until I stop.  So this year I hope Santa brings me a gym membership!  Despite having 6lbs left to go I was able to get this pair of skinny jeans on and buttoned without anything hanging over, and it brightened my day!

at the pumpkin patch

Shortly before Halloween London and I went to the pumpkin patch with my sister, brother in-law, and my nephew (my hubby couldn’t make it).  Although, London couldn’t enjoy many of the activities my nephew certainly had a great time!  Since I was staying with my sister I just had to raid her closet…
